Event Report

Drive Electric Cincinnati's ride & drive at Great Parks' Earth Day celebration at Winton Woods Harbor was a success, benefitting from a more visible and convenient location next to our stable of EVs.  After a good drenching, the weather cleared and attendees enjoyed the music and activities.  We had a good array of EVs--a total of 12, including the new Model Y, EV pickup trucks Ford F1-50 Lightning and Chevy Silverado EV, Hyundai Ioniq 5 & 6, Kia EV6 and EV9, Rivian R1S, VW ID.4, Chevy Bolt EUV, and BMW X5 xDrive45e PHEV.  A total of 30 people went on rides or test drives in 7 EVs we had available for rides/test drive.

Event Description

Join us for an Electric Vehicle (EV) Showcase and ride & drive while celebrating with Great Parks’ “Protect Your Wild” Earth Day celebration at Winton Woods Harbor.  Enjoy live music, local vendors selling sustainable or homemade products, food trucks, games, and more!

Check out a variety of EV models from local EV owners / dealers.  Climb in an EV, have the kids look for the charge port instead of the tail pipe, and get your EV questions answered.  Sign up at the event for EV rides and test drives.  Experience the smooth, quiet acceleration and see for yourself what people are talking about!  Ride in multiple EV models to compare.
