The Pioneer Valley Electric Auto Association is pleased to partner with the Amherst Sustainability Festival for the 18th year. We’ll focus on a variety of reliable, responsible and enjoyable ways to get around in The 413. Experts will highlight bicycling, walking, the ever-expanding network of regional and micro-transit bus routes and plans to extend rail travel across the State.

Meet dedicated advocates of public transportation from the Quaboag Connector and the Western Massachusetts Transit Advocacy Network. Learn about new bus service from Greenfield to Amherst and from UMASS to Worcester, as well as MassDOT projects aimed at increasing pedestrian safety. Jeff Manning from MOR-EV will provide an update on the Massachusetts EV rebates and answer questions about purchasing an EV.

Hear about 80 year-old Aunt Bernadette, a walker who also drives electric. If we’re lucky, she’ll stop by for a visit or we'll send her a greeting.

We’ll share information about communities where there are no cars and about Fuel2Electric’s role in the expansion of the EV conversion market. Get an update on the APTER, which is being designed to be the first production solar electric car. Check out a new Hyundai 5, an old Smart4Two and a Rivian electric pickup truck that plays videos and makes popcorn. And test-drive Quadrini e-bikes.

Bring your snack, and come sit and chat.
