Event Report
The first Fleet EVent in Kernersville NC was hosted on a Friday under threat of thunderstorms at the Piedmont Triad Regional Council offices. As the afternoon wore on, the sun broke out and all of the demonstrations moved outside to a very active demonstration of EVs, Hybrid EVs, and xEV charging stations.
Dozens of area companies and organizations showed up to experience EVs & Hybrid EVs. The regional Tesla support team offered rides in their Model S, and many attendees and staff rode a CycleBoard 3 wheel Light EV from the Wake Tech and TEVA of NC xEV program. Several area educational programs were featured including the Forsyth Tech Community College partnership with Rivian.
The Komodo Tank from the nearby MAD Maker Space made its first appearance in the area. See a better description and links in the Winston-Salem Earth Day report, or the photo album below.
