Event Report
The event was organized and put on by Care NET, a local environmental group with members from Hawkins, Hancock, Grainger, Greene, and Jefferson counties. They are also affiliated with the Tennessee Chapter of the Sierra Club. The event, which ran from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., featured two dozen booths, including a plant swap, baked goods, crafts, food, health product vendors, electric tools and EVs, and hiking and camping equipment.There were also activities for the children, live music, and the celebration was free for the community.
TVA Energy Right was also on hand providing information about home energy audits and how to better insulate your homes. Drive Electric Tennessee had an F-150 Lightning on display to allow people to ask questions and look at the vehicle. The Hawkins County Humane Society also had an exhibit — with puppies — to inform people about the work it does in the county.

Event Description
Come join us for the second annual Earth Day Celebration on April 26, 2025! The event will be held at Crockett Springs Park in Rogersville, TN, from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.
There will be poetry reading, music, vendors, electric vehicles, food, a plant swap, and information on living lighter and greener on Planet Earth!
