Event Description
William C. Velásquez Institute (WCVI) is hosting Ponte Las Pilas, Earth Day at LA Harbor College on April 22, 2025, as part of its Electric Vehicle Community Outreach Program.
This program aims to engage underserved and minority communities in the area to highlight the benefits of driving electric vehicles, as well as the rebates and incentives available to drivers. At the event, students, faculty, staff, and community members will have the opportunity to interact with EV owners, and learn about the technology. As a thank you for your time, EV owners who volunteer to display their cars will receive a $100 gift card. Please note that EV cars will be parked at the event for display and will be unable to move between 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM.
