Event Report
This two-day event was an absolute success! We were able to promote the event through multiple media channels (links below), and holding it over two days allowed us to reach a wider audience than just a one-day event would have given us. Event Description
Motlow State Community College (MSCC) is moving into the electric vehicle (EV) showcasing space! We are thrilled to be hosting our first EV Ride & Drive EVent on April 22 and 23 and we invite students, staff, and faculty of MSCC as well as the nearby community members to come join us, ask questions, and take a spin in one of the variety of EVs that we will have onsite this day! There will be a number of different EVs there, and we have right at our campus both DC fast chargers and Level 2 chargers to show anyone how EVs plug in... as well as to charge your EV!
We also have a number of initiatives and partnerships that are focused on expanding our classes and learning opportunities that are related to EVs, including workforce development! We recently announced a $5 million expansion of Motlow State’s Automation and Robotics Training Center in McMinnville, and the new facilities will underpin training in electric vehicle technology, Mechatronix and cybersecurity. So come learn about what is going on with EVs at MSCC on April 22 and 23!!
