Event Report

This was a lightly attended Earth Day event put on by the HOA of a relatively new but fast growing development on the SE side of Tucson. The logistics were less than ideal as the event was split between two parks about a block apart with the busier half at the other location. 

The event organizers were highly appreciative of us participating and committed to looping us in sooner for next year (we only had two weeks to plan this one). They normally do these in a larger park in another part of the development, so future events should be more fruitful.

This was also my first event in Tucson, after coordinating half a dozen in Colorado in past years. The other participant is an EV advocate in the area, who will also help with future events.

Shine up your ride and come share your electric journey at the Rocking K HOA Earth Day & Spring Fling

Whether you enjoy talking about your car or want to connect with fellow EV drivers, this is a great opportunity to meet curious neighbors and show off your vehicle.

·       Talk with Rocking K South residents about your EV ownership experience

·       Optionally offer Test Rides — you drive, they experience the thrill

·       Food Trucks and Family Fun – bring the whole crew
