On Friday, April 25, 2025, Self-Help Credit Union was excited to celebrate Drive Electric Earth Month in Atlanta alongside fellow partners including EVHybridNoire, EV Club of the South, Clean Cities Georgia, Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, Southface Institute, and other local nonprofits. A dozen hybrid plug-in and fully electric cars were on display, and local residents were able to ask questions about rebates and financing options for electric vehicles. Participants also enjoyed free food, music, and information from local nonprofit partners about housing services and other community resources available to them. Self-Help is excited to offer affordable financing for electric vehicles to help people 'go green' and 'save green' at the same time!

Other participating nonprofits include Southface Institute, Clean Cities GA, EV Noire, Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, the Atlanta Land Trust, and Housing Plus. We will have a plug-in Prius Prime, a Tesla Model Y, and a BMW
i3 available on site, as well as information about EV financing, rebates, and maintenance.
