Event Report
The event included several presentations about climate and energy efficiency, info about electric vehicles, incentives and financing. EVs were on hand, and guests were able to view them, ask questions or test drive.
Partners: The University of Miami School of Law, The CLEO Institute, Catalyst Miami, Dream In Green, and Self-Help Credit Union.

A Celebration of Earth, Life, and Legacy in Overtown
Join us to learn about:
- Climate change
- Climate advocacy and environmental justice
- Renewable energy and energy efficiency
- Electric vehicles
- Overtown history and culture
- Clean energy financing options.
Location: Historic Black Police Precinct Courthouse and Museum 480 NW 11th St Miami, FL 33136
Participating organizations: Shifting Power Alliance, including Self-Help Credit Union, Dream In Green, The CLEO Institute, Catalyst Miami, and University of Miami Environmental Law Program.
ยท Local dealers will have a sample of EVs, and guests will be able to test drive. Self-Help will present information about electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, residential solar, and home energy efficiency (and financing options).
