Event Report

The Ventura Charter School of Arts & Global Education held it’s annual EcoFest on Sunday April 27th. This family friendly event had over 40 sales and educational booths along with live music and activities. One of the sponsors of the event was Kirby Subaru who brought a Solterra for display.

As part of the event, the EV Advocates of Ventura County provided a small EV Showcase to provide participants with the opportunity to view vehicles and talk shop with experienced EV drivers.

Throughout the afternoon a steady stream of community members came, explored and were educated at the event. In the end over 4,000 contacts were made.

Event Description

This free, family-friendly festival will be held on the beautiful greenspace of
the VCS campus. With thousands of attendees, the event promises an exciting day filled with
live music, local vendor booths, food trucks, a silent auction, raffles, and much more!
This event brings us together as a community; with local companies sharing products and
services, nonprofits promoting green and sustainable best practices, and Ventura Charter
School showcasing their unique approach/contribution to public education.
The event included an EV Showcase of Electric Vehicles and their owners.
