Event Report
In 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 I had displayed my EV for the Earth Day celebrations in Springdale/Zion National Park. This year I decided to again participate in that gathering. I knew that my Ioniq 5 would be the only EV at the event, unlike at most DEEM celebrations, but I also know from experience that I would be able to actively chat with more attendees about the features and benefits of driving on electricity. Perhaps because the pristine setting in the National Park is a visual testament to the crucial need to build a greener future, many of the folks who attended were particularly interested in EVs. I just hope I managed to dispel the misinformation that the fossil fools have spread far and wide, persuade some people to go take a test drive in an EV, and consider getting rid of their tailpipes.
