Event Report

Hi EV Advocates,

The Arbor Earth Day event in Thousand Oaks was a success, featuring 20 vehicles: 16 from EV Advocates of Ventura County and three from Swickard Cadillac/GMC (Lyriq, Optiq, and GMC Sierra AT4).

A notable highlight was a Winnebago eRV2 (Ford Transit-based electric Class B RV). While no Conejo RV representative attended, the vehicle reportedly features a 280-mile range and a dedicated J1772 connector for the house battery.

Attendees showed strong interest in transitioning from gas vehicles, though some expressed concerns about going fully electric. I also spoke with a past contact who remains very satisfied with their Ioniq 5. Many thanks to the City of Thousand Oaks Sustainability division for providing volunteer meals.

Vehicle List:

  - 2022 Kia EV6
  - 2024 Kia EV9
  - 2018 Chrysler Pacifica PHEV
  - 2022 & 2026 Rivian R1T
