The EV Ride and Drive event held at Allegiant Stadium on April 4th was a strong success, bringing together community members, industry partners, and electric vehicle enthusiasts for an engaging and educational experience.
A total of approximately 165 attendees participated in the event, with 68 test drives completed throughout the day. Guests had the opportunity to explore 37 different electric vehicles on display, showcasing a wide range of makes and models and highlighting the growing diversity in the EV market.
The event featured 21 vendors, offering resources, information, and interactive exhibits related to electric vehicles, sustainability, and clean energy solutions. Attendees were able to connect directly with experts and organizations supporting EV adoption in the region.
Media outreach resulted in 10 media mentions, helping to amplify awareness of the event and the broader goals of promoting electric vehicle education and adoption across Southern Nevada.
Featured Blog Highlight: Mark, an EV owner from St. George, attended his 14th Drive Electric event in Las Vegas. He documented his journey from Utah, sharing insights into what an EV road trip is really like—from charging stops to overall driving experience. His story offers a relatable and informative perspective for those curious about making longer trips in an electric vehicle.
Overall, the event successfully fostered community engagement, increased EV awareness, and provided hands-on experiences that helped demystify electric vehicle ownership.

Celebrate Earth Month with us at our Community Electric Vehicle Ride & Drive! 🌎
This interactive event invites you to get behind the wheel and explore a variety of electric vehicles in a fun, welcoming setting. Learn how going electric can save money, reduce emissions, and support a cleaner future. Local experts and EV owners will be on hand to answer your questions about incentives, charging options, battery range, and the benefits of clean transportation.
While you’re there, take part in our Recycling Drive happening at the same time and location. Bring your electronics, paper, batteries, and other accepted items for responsible recycling and help keep valuable materials out of the landfill.
Explore booths from community vendors, meet elected
officials, and discover what local cities and organizations are doing to
celebrate Earth Month and promote sustainability in the region.
Enjoy food trucks, a DJ, and plenty of fun for the
whole family!
