Event Report

The Patchogue EV & Sustainability Fair featured an EV Showcase as well as twenty organizations providing information on  sustainable products and services.  This free, family-oriented event celebrated Earth Month while showcasing clean energy innovations, sustainable living solutions and the growing accessibility of electric vehicles (EVs.)  The event included children's activities, face painting and free ice cream.  Sponsors included the Village of Patchogue, Drive Electric Long Island, Patchogue-Medford Library, Johnson Controls, Sunrise Electric, Home Effiency Experts and Green Team LI.

The EV Showcase included a diverse lineup of electric vehicles from local dealerships and EV owners offering residents the opportunity to see, learn and ask questions firsthand.  EV Brands included Cadillac, GMC, Tesla, Lucid, Hyundai, Chevy, VW and Toyota.

A highlight of the event was a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly installed solar carport array and EV charging stations at the Patchogue LIRR station - marking a significant milestone in the Village's ongoing commitment to sustainability and climate action.
