Event Report
On Sunday, April 26th, the Ventura Charter School of Arts & Global Education held its annual EcoFest. This family-friendly event had over 40 sales and educational booths along with live music and activities.
As part of the event, the EV Advocates of Ventura County hosted a small EV Showcase, offering participants the opportunity to view vehicles and talk shop with experienced EV drivers.
Throughout the afternoon, a steady stream of community members came, explored, and were educated at the event. Amid the current fuel price surge, the EV showcase drew many interested in exploring transportation options.
Event Description
This free, family-friendly festival will be held on the beautiful greenspace of the Ventura Charter School campus. With thousands of attendees, the event promises to be an exciting day featuring live music, local vendor booths, food trucks, a silent auction, raffles, and more!
Participants will come together as a community, with local companies sharing products and services, nonprofits promoting green and sustainable best practices, and Ventura Charter School showcasing their unique approach/contribution to public education.
The event includes a Showcase of Electric Vehicles and their owners provided by the EV Advocates of Ventura County. The showcase will give participants the chance to see vehicles and talk shop with experienced EV drivers.
