The Earth Action Expo is an annual event organized by the Midland Section of the American Chemical Society and the Dow High School Go Green Club, with sponsorships from other Community Organizations. The 2026 theme is “Into the Woods with Chemistry", but activities and speakers will also address many other environmental topics, including green science, recycling, solar power and electric vehicles.  The event is free and family-friendly with many things to see and  'hands on' activities for all ages. There will also be food trucks selling a variety of eats and drinks. Speakers throughout the event will address various energy, nature and climate-related topics. Attendance is free and so is parking.

The Expo will be held rain or shine, with most activities indoors. An outdoor area will be sectioned off for EV owners and dealers to exhibit and talk about their vehicles. Our plan is to feature a variety of models and manufacturers, displayed in a special section in front and on the side of the school (with duplicates close by in the parking lot).  To that end, please register through the DEEM website so we know you are coming and what vehicle you are bringing.  ALSO, please contact Gina at: [email protected] , who will plan car placement and send you detailed information ahead of time.
