Event Report
For the seventh time, we showed EVs as an exhibitor at Rockville Science Day in Rockville Maryland. We had 9 registered vehicles, one drop-in (an ID Buzz) and ride and drives run by Lucid, Tesla and Stellantis, who brought a Dodge Charger Daytona EV. We were positioned at the throat of a funnel where crowds entered and exited the exhibits. We also had help from Pepco, the local utility, who gave a very interesting live electric safety demonstration. Lucid, Tesla and Stellantis reported around a dozen rides or drives each, hence my estimate of 36 total. The owners of the static EVs were constantly answering questions and taking literature, primarily our double-sided EVADC EV Info Sheet. Our only costs were some snacks and drinks for us and the dealer staff, and printing costs. This was probably an 8 out of 10 on the scale of interacting with the public.

Event Description
35th Annual Rockville Science Day
It’s an afternoon of family fun, with hands-on exhibits, demonstrations and performances in all fields of science, including Environment & Nature, Space & Astronomy, Reptiles & Birds, Chemistry & Biology, Robotics & Rockets and Electric Vehicles.
EVADC has been attending this event for well over a decade. Our cars will be parked by one of the main entrances into the event. Talk to real owners and pick their brains about how they drive and charge EVs in their daily lives.
