Event Report
The event was held at the Baton Roots Community Farm at Howel Park in Baton Rouge. Despite the rainy conditions that week, the event was well attended by the community with volunteers working on the community farm, children learning about where their food comes from, crafts, educational talks and more. It was a great new partnership for us. A total of 5 vehicles participated in the event: Tesla Model S, Rivian R1S, Kia Niro, Chevy Equinox EV, and a Hyundai Kona. The Tesla and the Rivian took individuals for short rides and were the most popular vehicles at the event this year. Nearly every conversation we had was quite meaningful with individuals who were interested and please to learn how affordable EVs are these days.
photo by: Louisiana Clean Fuels An enthusastic and curious group of children were at the Earth Day event with their parents. The parents were pleased to learn how affordable EVs are and the kids loved all the cool features and technology. We received permission from the parents to post this photo. |
