Event Report
In addition to the EV display, our event started with an all-electric and pedestrian parade through Grand Haven. Once completed, the electric vehicles, which included cars, trucks, van, motorcycles golf cars, velomobiles, and e-bikes, gathered in a parking lot adjacent to the venue. There was an Earth Day Expo in the church building with vendors and organizations focused on sustainability and community.Of course many of the attendees wandered outside to engage with the vehicle owners as well as organizations like Consumers Energy (our electric utility which gives EV charger rebates and incentives for off-peak charging), Electrify Michigan, and ZSR Solar. We have a wide variety of vehicle types and brands which was a far cry from the events of 10 years ago when it was all Teslas and Nissan LEAFs.

Event Description
The Earth Day Lakeshore planning committee is gearing up for this year's 19th annual event.
The Green March leaves from Ottawa courthouse parking lot at noon and continues around town for about 1 hour.
The Earth Day Fair/speakers will be from 1-4 PM at First Presbyterian Church in Grand Haven
The new location will have more area than ever before for an EV showcase. Come see EVs, pop-up tents from vendors, solar exhibits, and other Earth Friendly activities in the church's small parking lot (top right corner in yellow highlight).
