Event Report

The Gallatin Valley Earth Day Festival is the premiere Earth Day event for Gallatin County, Montana, attracting over 2000 people for a day full of earth-focused festivities including our Electric Vehicle Showcase. Our Showcase was located next to the entrance of the festival and got a lot of attention because of this. This year, we invited our local Rivian dealership to participate in the showcase with us, and they exhibited the R1T complete with a full car-camping set up, which was a fun interactive experience for kids at the Festival to explore. Our local Toyota dealership was invited as well and showcased the new bZ. The City of Bozeman also showed off their new F150 Lightning, which they use as their Animal Control vehicle in the Bozeman Police Department. In addition, our local compost company Happy Trash Can brought their new Silverado EV which they use to collect compost around Bozeman and Livingston. Lastly, three of our local Drive Electric chapter members (Karin, Josh, and Don) brought their personal vehicles, so we had a Chevy Bolt, Kia EV6, and a Tesla Model X on site. We all shared some great conversations with festival attendees and had a great time spreading EV awareness and education!
