Lakeland Drive Electric Earth Day EV Show 2026

·       Location: Munn Park parking lot in downtown Lakeland, FL

Lakeland celebrated the 56^th Anniversary of Earth Day with the City’s fourth annual Earth Day EV show, ”Drive Electric Earth Day Lakeland”.

This free, family-friendly outdoor event was held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in downtown Lakeland’s beautiful Munn Park, adjacent to the Lakeland Farmers Curb Market.  The event featured local EV owners showcasing their vehicles, answering visitor’s questions, & sharing their EV-enthusiasm. The Lakeland Farmers Market's wonderful weekly fresh produce, delicious food, and craft booths added to the festivities and provided a steady stream of visitors curious about electric transportation.

A wide variety of EVs (12 vehicles, 10 models,) were on display including a Lucid Air, Rivian R1T, Tesla Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Chevy Bolt EUV, Nissan Ariya, Nissan LEAF, VW ID4, VW ID4 AWD, and 3 Ford Mustang Mach-Es.

Visitors enjoyed learning about EVs at our DEEM welcome canopy, which featured EV educational displays, free prize drawings, an “EV-IQ” spinner wheel game, and children’s EV craft activities.

Drive Electric Earth Day Lakeland was organized with the help of volunteers from the Polk Clean Energy Alliance and the League of Women Voters of Polk County.

Huge thanks go to all our EV owners who displayed their vehicles and to the Lakeland Downtown Development Authority who graciously allowed us to use the Munn Park parking lot for our event.  Thank you for helping us raise awareness of the health, economic, and environmental benefits of electric transportation!
