Event Report
The 2026 Drive Electric Columbia event was held in conjunction with the Soda City Market on Saturday April 18th with BMW of Columbia as the Gold Sponsor. We appreciate the support from the Palmetto Clean Fuels Coalition, Dick Dyer Mercedes and Volvo, McDaniels VW, Rivian, Scout Motors, and Hendrick Chevrolet and GMC. Thousands of attendees walked through our display and spoke to either dealer representatives or local EV owners who brought their own cars to the event. With representation from most EV brands, the general public was treated to an informal educational experience and enjoyed a beautiful Earth Day!

Event Description
Join the Columbia EV community at the Soda City Market Saturday April 18th to see the latest electric and plug-in vehicles. We'll have support from the Palmetto Clean Fuels Coalition, Classic Ford, Dick Dyer Mercedes and Volvo, Genesis of Columbia, Stivers Hyundai along with McDaniels' VW. Scout Motors will show off their Terra electric pickup truck so come and see the coolest EV truck to be made right here in Columbia, SC. Other sponsors are registering, so watch this space!
