Event Report
Running a Drive Electric EVent concurrent with the Piedmont Farm Tour was a mixed bag. We had over 300 people attend the site, but most had come for farm animal or food experiences, not for an EV educational booth or EV rides.We are revisiting a combination event with a more compatible pairing of a Light Electric Recycle Cafe and a Drive Electric Month for the Fall. A repair event for ebikes, escooters, etrikes, mini-Segways, and even extending to Light Electric tools has been requested before. This Fall we will marry the Light Electric Recycle Cafe and a Drive Electric EVent.

Event Description
Over thirty farms, scattered across the beautiful landscape of Alamance, Chatham, Durham, Orange, Person, and Wake counties, open their farm gates to the public and invite over 2,000 visitors to experience and enjoy local agriculture at work firsthand.
At Willow Springs Farm, also the site of TS Designs, in Burlington, visitors will find educational displays of Electric & Hybrid Vehicle technologies (xEV Tech) including Ultra Light EV (ULEV) Tech and how they can support agricultural work. Join us for some hands-on introduction to xEV Tech!
