Event Report

Poolesville Green’s DEEM Electric Vehicle display at the Montgomery County GreenFest 2026 showcased 16 electric vehicles spanning 9 makes and 15 models, with participation from 17 private EV owners and advocates, four company fleets, one local government, and two dealerships. Festival goers enjoyed 15 Ride/Drives, experiencing cutting-edge electric vehicle technology firsthand. A commercial lawncare company also demonstrated innovative electric robomowing equipment. Poolesville Green also conducted a free drawing to give three lucky attendees native trees to take home. Beyond the EV show, the event featured 100 exhibitors highlighting sustainability and go-green initiatives from county government, as well as profit and non-profit organizations throughout the county. With approximately 1,300 attendees, GreenFest underscored the community’s strong commitment to clean energy and sustainable practices.

Event Description

 

Montgomery County GreenFest is an annual festival celebrating all manner of ways to 'go green'. This family friendly event includes kid friendly activities, and information and ideas to participate in creating a greener earth-friendly environment for everyone. For scenes from prior years, check out this short video.

We will be displaying EV passenger vehicles, EV trucks and EVs that are part of a company fleet. We will have an older EV on display whose owner can speak to you about the Used EV market. EV owners who what to share their ownership experience without displaying their EV are welcome to join us.
