Drive Clean Colorado and Charge Across Town hosted an EV Experience during the Estes Park Bigfoot Days Festival on April 24–25, 2026, engaging approximately 200 attendees through hands-on education, vehicle showcases, and test drives. Thank you to our partners, including Charge Across Town, Monarca Group, Rivian, and volunteer EV ambassador Nigel Zeid, for helping engage attendees and create meaningful conversations throughout the event. Attendees had the opportunity to explore a variety of electric vehicles, including a Volkswagen ID. Buzz, Ford F-150 Lightning, Volkswagen ID.4, and two Chevrolet Bolts, while Rivian provided EV test drives that allowed participants to experience electric driving firsthand.

The event sparked meaningful conversations about charging infrastructure, road-trip travel, affordability, incentives, and EV ownership. Many attendees were already familiar with EVs and came with practical questions about charging, maintenance, and real-world performance. Through interactive activities, vehicle displays, test drives, and conversations with EV owners, attendees gained a better understanding of electric transportation and the resources available to support EV adoption. Post-event surveys also showed strong interest in considering an EV for a future vehicle purchase, highlighting the value of EV education and outreach at community events.
