Event Report
Tee Up for Electrification | April 17th
Drive Clean Colorado tabled at this event and engaged with roughly 30 attendees with communities in the Englewood, Sheridan, and Littleton. The team shared information about EV incentives, workplace and public charging options, and how to prepare businesses for transportation electrification. The DCC team talked to a variety of small businesses about how electric vehicles could fit within their operations. We received questions about the towing capacity of EV light duty trucks and the current incentives available for vehicles such as the Innovative truck credit and Vehicle Exchange Program. We also received questions about cost of charging and differences between levels of charging. We also connected with attendees about interest in charging at their workplaces that could also support their fleet vehicle. We provided recommendations through both CAC and FleetZero.
Key Themes:
Many attendees expressed interest in funding for light duty electric vehicles
Questions about charging regarding having a public charger at their workplace and charging their fleet vehicles
Many questions around the range of and BEVs
